Swim Meet Entries

The coaches must submit a complete list of entries three days prior to each meet. Shortly after submitting our proposed entries to the opposing team, our coaches will e-mail this Entry List to each team member, so that each swimmer is informed of each event in which they will participate. The swimmers must be aware of these events, to prepare mentally for the event, and to allow for a more orderly swim meet.

Scheduled Times

• Weeknights -
  • 5:30 PM – warm-ups (home)
  • 5:45 PM – warm-ups (visitor)
  • 6:00 PM – meet begins
  • 9:00 PM – Objective end time
• Saturdays-
  • 8:30 AM – warm-ups (home)
  • 9:00 AM – meets begin
  • noon – Objective end time

Inclement Weather

Unless there is thunder or lightning, the team will meet at the Pavilion at the scheduled time for swim meets and practices.   Online Weather Radar

For evening meets or cold weather, please have your swimmers wear their bathing suits, but also dress in sweats and tennis shoes. Even if we don’t get in the pool, we will have an instruction session, including topics on safety, land training and stroke techniques.

Note:
When a meet is scheduled for the evening, we will still have practice in the morning!

Swim Meet Entries (continued)

If your child will be unable to participate in any meets, please advise the coaches as soon as possible. The inidividual Swim Meet Entry Lists will be e-mailed prior to the Swim Meet. We will post a notice in our News Section, however, if you do not receive your Entries List, contact another team member, or one of the coaches, to obtain another copy. The Swim Meet Entry List will not be published on this web site.
