I do understand that I am a very important part of the Thornhill Swim Team. I do understand that our program cannot succeed without my assistance.
I do understand that our entire program, with the exception of coaching, is totally run by volunteers. Therefore, I promise to neither criticize nor complain if and when problems arise. Instead, I will pitch in and try to resolve the problem or to find a solution.
I will try not to interrupt the coaches during practice time. I will save my questions and comments until they are finished.
I will review the Team Members Pledge with my swimmer and be certain that they understand the expectations and plan to comply with them.
I understand that our team is made up of members of varying strengths and levels of experience and my swimmer can only improve or succeed with constant praise and positive reinforcement.
I will also comply with all of the requirements expected of my participant as listed in the Team Members Pledge.
I will leave a meet absence notification in the coach’s box if there is any change in our plans and we will not be able to make it to a meet.
I promise to set a sterling example of good sportsmanship.
I promise to have fun, make new friends and enjoy this swim season.
