All Thornhill children between the ages of 4 and 18, regardless of ability or experience, are strongly encouraged to participate in the FUN of swim team. Each team member is expected to make new friends, work on their swimming skills, and most importantly, learn the unity that comes from a team experience . . . while simply having a BLAST!!!
In the early Spring, the Tornados hold a registration of team members in preparation for the upcoming season. This is designed to complete the GCSL paperwork, identify the team participants, order the team swimsuits, identify our parents and their associated Tornados’ work skills 
, such as Timer, Runner, Stroke&Turn Judge, … It is the first gathering of the season, and we get organized, children, parents, and volunteers!

Remember to bring your Registration form , your calendar, your checkbook, and your swimmer! A MAC representative will be at the pavilion on Thursday ONLY, to assist our team members in the fittings of their new Team suits.

Swim Suits
Suit manufacturers create the same styles of suits for one or two year periods. We always choose the two year style and this is a new two year cycle. Each team member will need to order a new swim suit. Team caps were not ordered this year, so you will need to purchase one. Black or Green are the colors that will match our suits.
Each parent is encouraged to register on Thursday, April 28th, when the Team Swim Suits may be ordered at the pavilion from the vendor’s representative. If you are not able to purchase your suit at the April 28th registration, you will need to purchase your team suit at the MAC Swim Store on the Charlotte Latin Campus. Let them know you are with the Thornhill Team.
Late Registration
After our last registration session, late registrations may be made by contacting our League Rep directly, Scott MacDonald, Tornados Contact List.
Any registration that occurs after April 28th is subject to a late registration fee of $25.00. In addition, there are may be additional fees in obtaining the Team Swim Suits directly at the MAC Swim Store on the Charlotte Latin Campus, which will be the responsibility of the parents.
